Official name: Acacia Core Analytics Co., Ltd.
Established: 2017
Studio: Oh Nayeon, 49 Gangneung-ro, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do 25500, REP. OF KOREA

Origin

Founder Oh Nayeon spent eight years in category analytics roles at Seoul FMCG firms before opening Acacia Core in 2017. The studio began as a consultancy for regional food producers around Gangwon-do who lacked in-house chart capacity for hypermarket range reviews. By 2019, beauty and household brands in Seoul began commissioning remote engagements, and the team grew to four analysts plus a production designer who prepares the brass-finished chart bindings clients receive.

What we do today

We reconcile sell-out files, build portfolio and mix charts, and lead readout sessions for consumer brands selling through Korean hypermarkets, convenience chains, department stores, and major e-commerce marketplaces. We do not sell subscriptions, dashboards, or ongoing software access. When an engagement closes, you keep the chart book and source mapping appendix.

Working approach

  • Every figure footnotes its source week and file name
  • Reconciliation assumptions are published, not hidden in appendices
  • We decline engagements where data quality cannot support the decision deadline
  • Readout sessions are structured; we do not pivot conclusions under meeting pressure

Team

Four analysts with backgrounds in FMCG category management, retail finance, and statistical graphics. One production designer handles print binding and slide masters. We collaborate with freelance translators when clients need bilingual chart labels for multinational retail partners.

Values

Precision over polish. We would rather deliver a plain chart with correct footnotes than a decorative deck with unverifiable claims. We treat client sell-out data as confidential and destroy working files ninety days after engagement close unless retention is requested in writing.
