Short testimonials

The portfolio review for our sixteen-SKU rice snack line arrived two days before the E-mart meeting. The delist recommendation on the 85 g bag saved us from ordering another production run we did not need. My only note: the chart legend text was small on A3 prints—fixed in the reprint at no charge.

Acacia Core mapped our Coupang and Lotte data into one chart set for the first time. The reconciliation appendix was long but necessary. Our finance lead finally stopped arguing with sales about which channel was profitable.

We hired them for a seasonal session before Chuseok. The hero/filler labels sparked a useful argument in the room—that was the point. I would have liked more convenience-store granularity, but the hypermarket charts were exact.

Project note: household cleaning range reset

Client: Mid-size household cleaning brand (name withheld)
Engagement: Portfolio Performance Review
Channels: E-mart, Homeplus, Coupang
Timeline: August–September 2025

The brand faced a mandatory range reduction from twelve SKUs to nine across hypermarket partners. Marketing wanted to protect three recently launched variants with weak but growing velocity. Sales wanted to keep legacy packs with stable but low-margin volume.

Our chart book ranked SKUs by margin per facing week after trade spend, not raw units. Two marketing favourites fell below the agreed margin floor. The readout session produced a written decision log: delist two legacy dilute formats, retain one new variant with a twelve-week probation note, renegotiate promo depth on the hero multi-pack.

Twelve weeks post-reset, the client reported hypermarket gross margin up 2.1 points on the category line—figures they supplied voluntarily for this note. We did not verify them independently.

Project note: beauty brand buyer deck

Client: K-beauty brand entering department-store concessions
Engagement: Category Mix Visualization Package
Timeline: January 2026

The brand needed eight subcategory mix charts comparing their serum and cream lines against department-store category averages. We worked from their KANTAR export plus internal sell-out. The A3 folio went into a Shinsegae buyer meeting. Listing expanded by four SKUs in the premium band—the buyer cited the price-index scatter plot specifically, according to the client's account manager.
